Our Vision
Promoting health and sports among rural people and their wards — helping rural families with proper health facilities and good education for their children.
Shantha Pitchai Trust serves rural communities through health education, training, awareness and service — helping village families rise through better health, quality education and the power of sports.
Promoting health and sports among rural people and their wards — helping rural families with proper health facilities and good education for their children.
To develop one organisation under a single banner, with the flexibility to include diverse, inter-disciplinary activities that uplift the villages we serve.
A desire to serve rural people and help in their upliftment through health education, training, awareness and dedicated community services.
The SP Trust was founded with a long-cherished desire to serve rural people and support their upliftment through health education, training, awareness and services — backed by trustees with several years of experience in the health sector.
Every programme we run flows from three focus areas that shape a healthier, brighter and stronger village community.
Regular medical camps for students and rural people, a "Healthy Village" concept with awareness on HIV, Hepatitis and recent outbreaks, plus a focus on Homeopathy as alternative medicine.
Improving basic health education among village children through electronic media and NGOs, with school-level science, essay and oratory competitions held periodically.
Village sports clubs that shape boys and girls for state and national level, with skill development in indoor games — badminton especially — and outdoor games alike.
Awareness classes for village women on the mother–child relationship and eradicating malnutrition, alongside Yoga and Silambam training that keeps tradition and wellness alive in every village we reach.
Our flagship league for Sub-Junior and Junior shuttlers of southern Tamil Nadu, run with TNBA & MDBA.
